Todd, a seasoned designer and educator, dedicates himself to crafting captivating theatrical experiences that not only entertain but also educate and uplift audiences. During his tenure as the Manager of Entertainment Design at Knott’s Berry Farm, Todd was the creative force behind a plethora of shows and special events. His notable work includes the creation of Elvira’s Ghost Stories Spookactular, a series of intricate Halloween Haunt mazes and shows, and the critically acclaimed Snoopy’s America on Ice.
In his diverse career, Todd has designed scenery, lighting, and projections for an array of productions, ranging from The Andrews Brothers at ICT in the Beverly O’Neill-Long Beach Entertainment Center, to Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play at the Young Theatre-CSUF, Madame Butterfly at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Newport Theatre Arts Center.
Holding an MFA in Theatre Design and Production from Cal State Fullerton, Todd has been recognized in the field, notably with the honor of representing his alma mater at the prestigious 2019 Prague Quadrennial of Theatre Design. He currently enriches the minds of students as the Professor of Theatre Production and Design at Riverside City College and actively contributes to the theatre community as a member of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT).
